Announcement of Partnership Agreement for Forest Creation Linking to the Future with Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture

"Preserving Mizunara trees for future generations"

On October 23, 2023, our community, "Japanese Whisky Membership Community - In," entered into a partnership agreement with Kofu City and Kofu City Hall, Yamanashi Prefecture, in collaboration with Seiichi Koshimizu.

Terms of the Agreement:
(1) The cultivation and promotion of Mizunara-dominant forests and the dissemination and promotion of forestry and forestry-related activities.
(2) The dissemination and promotion of Japanese whisky and the dissemination of information related to it.
(3) The dissemination and promotion of SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and the dissemination of information related to them.
(4) Other matters necessary to achieve the objectives of this agreement.

We are deeply proud to have established such an agreement with Kofu City, where the essence and activities of our community have been well understood. Alongside our community members, we aim to contribute to the Japanese whisky industry and its enthusiasts while protecting Japan's unique Mizunara forests. Our commitment extends not only to passing down precious Mizunara trees to the next generation but also to promoting the dissemination of forestry and forestry-related activities and the preservation of water source forests.

As a community, we are immensely pleased to have the opportunity to establish the identity of our members, who participate in this community as contributors to both the current and future whisky enthusiasts and the Japanese whisky industry.

A portion of your membership fees will be utilized for the planting of Mizunara tree seedlings in Kofu City through our community, and we will provide periodic reports to all our members.

We genuinely appreciate your support.
