About Hihaku The “Hihaku” Whisky glass is a traditional Japanese craft made of Bizen pottery, created by three individuals:

Kyo Isezaki, a renowned Bizen pottery artist, who holds the prestigious title of Living National Treasure in Bizen pottery and is the uncle of the creator.
Seiichi Koshimizu, former chief blender at Suntory and the first Japanese in the whisky industry to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Tansetsu Ogino, a sumi-e (Japanese ink painting) artist, known for designing the logo of the Japanese whisky “Hibiki.”
This exceptional whisky cup combines the expertise and skills of these three individuals, showcasing the artistry and craftsmanship of Bizen pottery, a treasured traditional craft in Japan.

Hihaku and Whisky We highly encourage you to try your everyday whisky with this Bizen Whisky Cup. It is said to bring about changes in aroma and flavor, adding a unique characteristic to your drinking experience. As one of the pleasures of drinking whisky, please do enjoy the differences in these transformations.

Not only is it suitable to drink it straight, but according to Mr. Koshimizu, it also appears to have a good compatibility when enjoyed with whisky diluted with hot water or enjoyed as a hot whisky. We encourage you to explore these various drinking methods and discover their delightful compatibility.
